If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the services.Service Operator

darkrain’s services are experimental software projects provided for testing, experimentation, and development purposes.
The services may include Discord bots, desktop applications, web tools, AI systems, local software, and optional third-party integrations.The services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.Unless expressly stated otherwise, darkrain’s services do not provide any commercial guarantee, professional guarantee, uptime guarantee, or service-level commitment.
They are not intended to provide professional, medical, legal, financial, emergency, or safety-critical advice.Experimental Status
- darkrain’s services are experimental projects.
- Features may change, break, reset, or be removed at any time without notice.
- Data, memory, settings, integrations, and access may be modified or wiped as part of testing and development.
- Some features may be unavailable, limited, or discontinued without notice.There is no guarantee of uptime, reliability, accuracy, security, availability, or continuity of service.Outview Local Data
Outview is designed as a desktop application where app data is stored locally on the user’s device unless the user chooses to connect or use a third-party service.darkrain.ai does not collect, receive, or store Outview app data by default.
Data used inside Outview may remain on the user’s own device, such as local settings, local history, local files, local memory, provider configuration, integration settings, authentication data, cached data, and other local app data.If a user chooses to use an external AI provider, API provider, Google integration, or other third-party service through Outview, data may be sent to that provider as needed to perform the requested action.Optional Integrations
- Some darkrain services, such as Outview, may offer optional integrations with third-party services.
- These integrations are not required to use the core service unless a specific feature clearly depends on them.
- If you choose to enable an integration, you may be asked to grant permissions through the relevant third-party provider.
- You may revoke third-party access through that provider’s account settings.Optional integrations may include access to services such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, or Google Tasks, only if enabled by the user.Third-Party AI and API Providers
Some darkrain services may allow users to choose or configure third-party AI and API providers.These may include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, OpenRouter, local models, self-hosted models, or other compatible providers selected by the user.When a user configures or uses a third-party provider, that provider may receive and process the data needed to perform the requested action.
This may include prompts, messages, files, documents, email content, calendar information, task information, search results, or other content the user chooses to process through that provider.Third-party providers are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, retention policies, and security practices.
darkrain.ai is not responsible for third-party provider behavior, availability, security, data handling, pricing, limits, account actions, or output.User Conduct
- By using darkrain’s services, you agree to follow all posted rules, terms, and guidelines that apply to the service you are using.
- You agree not to exploit, abuse, reverse engineer, overload, disrupt, or intentionally attempt to break the services, except where such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law.
- You agree not to use the services for illegal, harmful, malicious, abusive, deceptive, or unauthorized purposes.
- You agree not to misrepresent darkrain’s services as human, official, authoritative, or acting on behalf of another person or organization.
- Repeated or serious violations may result in suspension or permanent loss of access. Appeals may be handled at the discretion of the service operator.Memory and Data Usage
- Some darkrain services may store and use certain user-provided information through memory, settings, local history, or other systems in order to support functionality, testing, and service improvement.
- Memory behavior, scope, storage location, and retention may vary depending on the service.
- Memory and stored data may change, reset, or be removed over time as part of development.
- Users may request deletion of stored data, subject to technical limitations.Outview data is stored locally by default and is not collected by darkrain.ai unless the user chooses to use a feature or provider that sends data outside the local device.Nyx may store user-provided memories to support personalized functionality.
Nyx memories can be deleted by the user where supported, including through natural language requests, available Discord commands, or requests to the service operator.Additional details regarding data handling are described in the Privacy Policy.AI Output and Reliance
- Some darkrain services may use AI systems to generate responses, perform actions, or assist with user requests.
- AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, unexpected, or inappropriate.
- You are responsible for how you use any output from the services.
- You agree not to rely on darkrain’s services for decisions involving health, safety, legal matters, finances, or other high-risk areas.No Relationship or Representation
- darkrain’s services are not your friend, employee, contractor, legal representative, financial advisor, medical provider, or official assistant.
- No personal, professional, legal, fiduciary, or employment relationship is formed by using the services.
- darkrain’s services do not act on your behalf unless you explicitly use a feature that performs an action you requested.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, darkrain.ai and its operator are not liable for any damages, losses, or consequences resulting from use of, misuse of, or inability to use darkrain’s services.This includes, but is not limited to, errors, inaccuracies, unexpected behavior, data loss, local data loss, memory changes, integration issues, provider issues, service interruptions, account issues, moderation actions, downtime, discontinued features, or shutdowns.Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, or affects any rights users may have under mandatory consumer protection laws.Use of the services is entirely at your own risk.Termination of Access
Access to darkrain’s services may be suspended, limited, or terminated at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including guideline violations, misuse, security concerns, project changes, or service shutdown.Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, except where mandatory consumer protection laws, data protection laws, or other applicable laws require otherwise.If a dispute arises, users agree to first contact darkrain.ai and attempt to resolve the issue informally.If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be handled by the competent courts of Hungary, unless applicable law gives the user the right to bring a claim elsewhere.Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights users may have under applicable consumer protection, data protection, or local law.Changes to These Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated at any time.
Continued use of darkrain’s services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.Users will be notified of major changes when reasonably possible.

darkrain.ai does not sell, rent, or trade user data.Outview is designed as a local desktop application.
Outview does not send app data, usage data, prompts, files, messages, Google data, or telemetry to darkrain.ai by default.Data used inside Outview may be stored locally on the user’s own device.
If the user chooses to connect or use a third-party service, such as an AI provider, API provider, Google integration, or other external service, data may be sent to that provider as needed to perform the requested action.Nyx may store user-provided memories to support personalized functionality.
Nyx does not intentionally store user data outside of memory-related functionality, except where temporary processing is technically necessary for the service to work.Controller
For data protection purposes, the controller of personal data handled directly by darkrain’s services is the individual operator of darkrain.ai, based in Hungary.Outview local data is not collected by darkrain.ai by default.
For local Outview data stored only on the user’s device, darkrain.ai may not be able to access, export, correct, or delete that data.For privacy, data deletion, access, correction, objection, or legal requests, use the contact details listed in the “Privacy Contact” section.Information We Collect or Process
Depending on the service and features used, darkrain’s services may collect or process:- Messages, prompts, commands, and other content you provide.
- Account identifiers, usernames, display names, or user IDs from connected platforms.
- App settings, preferences, memory, saved context, or local history.
- Optional integration data, only when you choose to enable or use an integration.
- Temporary technical information needed to operate, debug, secure, or maintain the services, where applicable.The exact information collected or processed may vary depending on which darkrain service you use and which features you enable.Outview Local Processing
Outview stores data locally by default.This may include local app settings, local chat history, local memory, local files, provider settings, integration settings, authentication data, cached data, or other information needed for the app to function.darkrain.ai does not receive, collect, or store this local Outview data by default.Users are responsible for managing, backing up, deleting, or protecting data stored locally on their own device.
Deleting the app, clearing app data, resetting settings, or revoking integrations may remove or disable access to local data depending on the user’s system and app configuration.Nyx Memory
Nyx may store user-provided memories to support personalized functionality.Nyx memories may include information that users provide directly, ask Nyx to remember, or otherwise save through supported memory features.Nyx memories can be deleted where supported by:- Asking Nyx to delete memories through natural language when Nyx is online.
- Using available Discord slash commands when Nyx is online.
- Requesting deletion from the darkrain service operator.Nyx memory behavior, scope, and availability may change over time as part of development.Third-Party AI and API Providers
Outview may allow users to choose or configure external AI and API providers.These may include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, OpenRouter, local models, self-hosted models, or other compatible providers selected by the user.When a user uses a third-party provider, the data needed to complete the request may be sent to that provider.
This may include prompts, messages, files, documents, email content, calendar information, task information, search results, or other user-selected content.Third-party providers process data according to their own terms, privacy policies, retention policies, and security practices.
darkrain.ai does not control how third-party providers process data once the user chooses to use them.Local models or self-hosted models may process data locally or within the user’s own configured environment, depending on the setup.How We Use Information
Information may be used to:- Operate and provide the services.
- Maintain context, memory, preferences, settings, or app functionality.
- Respond to user requests.
- Perform user-requested actions.
- Debug errors and improve reliability.
- Prevent abuse, misuse, spam, or security issues.
- Develop, test, and improve darkrain’s services.User data is not sold, rented, or traded.Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable, darkrain.ai processes personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases:- User consent, such as when a user enables optional integrations, grants Google account access, stores memories, or uses a third-party provider.
- Performance of a service, where processing is needed to provide features requested by the user.
- Legitimate interests, such as maintaining security, preventing abuse, debugging issues, protecting services, and improving reliability.
- Legal obligations, where processing or disclosure is required by applicable law.Where processing is based on consent, users may withdraw consent at any time.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.Optional Google Account Access
Some darkrain services, such as Outview, may offer optional Google account integrations.These integrations are entirely optional and are not required for general use of darkrain’s services unless a specific feature clearly depends on them.
If you do not enable Google integration, darkrain’s services will not access your Google account data.If enabled by the user, Outview or another darkrain service may request access to one or more of the following Google services:- Gmail — to help read, search, summarize, draft, send, organize, or manage email, depending on the feature you use.
- Google Calendar — to help view, create, update, search, or manage calendar events.
- Google Drive — to help find, read, organize, or work with files you choose to access.
- Google Docs — to help read, create, edit, summarize, or manage documents.
- Google Sheets — to help read, create, edit, summarize, or manage spreadsheets.
- Google Tasks — to help view, create, update, complete, or manage tasks.darkrain’s services only request Google permissions needed for the features being used.
Google account access is not required unless you choose to enable a Google-connected feature.Use of Google User Data
Google user data is used only to provide the Google-connected features you choose to enable.For example:- If you connect Gmail, the service may use email content or metadata to respond to your request, summarize a thread, draft a reply, send an email, or perform an email action you initiate.
- If you connect Google Calendar, the service may use calendar data to show availability, create events, update events, or respond to calendar-related requests.
- If you connect Google Drive, Docs, or Sheets, the service may use file or document content to help find, read, summarize, create, edit, or manage items you request.
- If you connect Google Tasks, the service may use task data to help view, create, update, complete, or manage tasks you request.Google user data is not sold, rented, traded, used for advertising, or used to train generalized AI or machine learning models by darkrain.ai.Google user data is not accessed unless required for a user-requested feature, a user-enabled integration, or necessary operation of the connected feature.AI Processing of Google User Data
If a user requests an AI-powered action involving Google data, only the information needed to complete that request may be sent to the AI or API provider selected or configured by the user.For example, if a user asks Outview to summarize an email thread, the relevant email content may be processed by the selected AI provider to generate the summary.If a user chooses OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, OpenRouter, a local model, a self-hosted model, or another provider, that provider may process the data according to its own terms, privacy policy, and retention practices.Google user data is not used by darkrain.ai to train generalized AI or machine learning models.Google API Services User Data Policy
darkrain’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.Information received from Google APIs is used only for user-facing features that the user chooses to enable.
Google user data is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not used to train generalized AI or machine learning models by darkrain.ai.Storage of Google User Data
In Outview, Google-related data is stored locally by default unless the user chooses to process it through a third-party provider or integration.Authentication tokens or related connection data may be stored locally as needed to keep an integration connected, unless the user disconnects the integration, revokes access, clears local app data, or deletes the app.Some Google-related data may be processed temporarily to complete a user-requested action.Where technically possible, darkrain aims to minimize long-term storage of Google user data.
Some data may still appear in local app history, local logs, memory, cache, saved settings, or other service-specific storage depending on the feature and configuration.Human Access to Google User Data
darkrain.ai does not allow humans to read Google user data except where necessary and permitted, such as:- When the user has explicitly requested support involving specific messages, files, events, tasks, or other Google data.
- When necessary for security, abuse prevention, debugging, or legal compliance.
- When the data has been aggregated or anonymized for internal operations.Human access to Google user data is limited to the minimum necessary for the relevant purpose.Sharing of Information
darkrain.ai does not sell, rent, or trade user data.Data may be shared or processed only where needed to operate the services, provide a user-requested feature, comply with legal obligations, protect the services, or support user-enabled integrations.Depending on the service and user configuration, data may be processed by:- AI model providers selected or configured by the user.
- API providers selected or configured by the user.
- Platform providers, such as Discord or Google, when using features connected to those platforms.
- Infrastructure or service providers needed to operate darkrain’s services.
- The service operator where necessary for support, debugging, abuse prevention, security, or legal compliance.For Outview, darkrain.ai does not receive local app data by default.
If a user chooses to send data to a third-party provider through Outview, that transfer is initiated by the user’s configuration or request.International Transfers
Some third-party providers, platforms, infrastructure providers, or API providers may process data outside the user’s country or outside the European Economic Area.Where darkrain.ai controls a transfer of personal data, appropriate safeguards will be used where required by applicable law.Where a user chooses or configures a third-party provider, that provider’s own terms, privacy policy, and transfer safeguards apply.EU Representative
darkrain.ai does not currently designate a separate EU representative because the service operator is based in the European Union.If this changes, or if a separate EU representative becomes legally required, this Privacy Policy will be updated with the relevant contact details.Data Retention
Data is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the service, feature, security, or legal purpose involved.- Outview local data may remain on the user’s device until the user deletes it, clears app data, resets settings, revokes integrations, or removes the app.
- Nyx memories may be retained until deleted by the user, removed through available commands or requests, reset as part of development, or removed for operational reasons.
- Account connection data and authentication tokens may be retained until the user disconnects the integration, revokes access, clears local data, or deletes their data.
- Temporary operational or diagnostic data, where used, may be retained for debugging, abuse prevention, and security, then deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
- Google user data is not intentionally retained longer than needed to provide the user-requested feature, unless retention is required for security, legal compliance, or user-enabled functionality.Data may be deleted, reset, or purged as part of testing, maintenance, user request handling, security work, or service changes.User Control and Deletion
Users may request deletion of stored data where technically possible.Outview users can manage local data on their own device by using available app controls, clearing app data, deleting local files, disconnecting integrations, revoking provider access, or uninstalling the app.Nyx memories can be deleted where supported by:- Asking Nyx to delete memories through natural language when Nyx is online.
- Using available Discord slash commands when Nyx is online.
- Requesting deletion from the darkrain service operator.For Google integrations, users may revoke access directly through their Google Account permissions page.
Revoking access may disable connected Google features in darkrain’s services.Deletion requests may not be fulfilled immediately and may not be possible in all cases, such as where data has already been deleted, anonymized, stored only locally on the user’s device, controlled by a third-party provider, or retained in limited form for security or legal reasons.User Rights
Depending on applicable law, users may have the right to:- Request access to personal data.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Request deletion of personal data.
- Request restriction of processing.
- Object to processing.
- Request data portability.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Users should not rely on darkrain’s services for decisions involving health, safety, legal matters, finances, employment, housing, credit, or other high-risk areas.Security
Reasonable measures are taken to protect data handled by darkrain’s services from unauthorized access, misuse, or loss.Outview users are responsible for the security of their own device, local files, local app data, provider keys, tokens, and configured third-party services.No system can be guaranteed to be fully secure.
